Moscow, Russia - 9 January, 2019: The limited liability company Intellectual Computer Systems Holding (LLC ICS Holding) is the new owner of the joint-stock company Peter-Service (branded Nexign). The companies have announced the acquisition by ICS Holding of 100% of shares in Nexign, a transaction approved in advance by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation.
The priorities of ICS Holding are the development of the digital economy in Russia and support for local IT talent across various business sectors. The acquisition of Nexign, a leading provider of BSS software and services for telecom operators, is the first step towards uniting several major players in the Russian information technology market within a single ecosystem, the ultimate beneficiary of which will be the Russian businessman Anton Cherepennikov.
“Nexign will continue to build long-term relationships with customers and partners and support the revenue growth of communications service providers in the era of digital transformation,” says Igor Gorkov, CEO of Nexign. “The development of high-tech products and the provision of reliable services are the foundation of our philosophy. We remain committed to these principles and our strategy of international expansion into the global BSS market along with continued investment to support telecom operators across Russia and the CIS.”
In 2019, companies including Citadel, Forpost and Kryptonite will be consolidated under the management of ICS Holding (23 assets in all). These companies, Nexign included, employ a total of more than 6,500 people. Their offices are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Oryol, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk and other cities across Russia.
ICS Holding aims to complete all formal assets consolidation procedures in 2019.
